With the difficult planning climate and increasingly complicated development process, planning consents are achieved by the ability to overcome legal, constructional and planning problems. It is here that the group’s expertise and financial strength produces the added value for the landowner created by the grant of planning consent.

FLEXIBILITY

The nature of CPG enables it to offer a variety of flexible development methods including partnership, joint venture and outright purchase.

We will purchase existing investments for long-term development and will either retain the subsequent investment or sell to the institutional market. Developments therefore meet the very highest standards.

CONFIDENTIALITY

As development projects frequently involve company relocation through downsizing or up sizing, they can be extremely sensitive. All negotiations are therefore conducted in the strictest confidence at Director level.

SUSTAINABILITY

We are committed to creating well designed sustainable buildings and places. Many of our investments and developments are regarded as ‘best in class’ and meet the highest BREEAM standards of either ‘Very Good’ or ‘Excellent’. By way of example the new Avalon plastics premises in Glastonbury achieved an excellent award. In addition Western Power Distribution’s new storage and office facility at Llandrindod Wells was awarded the Industrial Category in the BREEAM Award for Wales. This award recognises the design and construction of the highest scoring buildings certified under BREEAM each year, the building having previously achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating (a pre-requisite for consideration for the award).
